Perhaps the easiest way to make money without doing anything. Let the paybar stay open on your screen and it pays you while you are online (and sometimes when you aren't).
Play them for fun! If you win that's great! They should be considered as hobbies.
Saving money is the same as making it. If you buy something you were going to get anyway and didn't spend as much on it then you can take the difference to the bank. Similarly if you receive points or coupons and redeem them for merchandise you have come out ahead.
These range from simple yes/no questions to complicated evaluations of websites or advertisements. Most put your name in a drawing for prizes. A few pay anywhere from a few dollars up to $15.00 each and a couple of places offer substantial gift certificates for completing the work. They are not regular and you must wait until the company contacts you, but it is often worth the effort to fill out the application.
Similar to surveys is rating products according to your own opinions and experience. This is also a great way to find out what others think of products and services you may be thinking about trying.
Selling at online auctions is a great way to make a few extra dollars, but it is a lot of work. If you have a specialty, a hobby or craft you may actually make a living at it.
Takes time and work. Good idea on something like a vacation, though. You can often put together a better package than the travel agent.
While not truly an online occupation, most companies today who hire mystery shoppers are scheduling online. The actual job involves going to a local business (restaurant, store, etc.) and then submitting a report based on what the customer wants to know. Payment varies greatly, from reimbursement for the meal only to $50.00 or more for a complex job. Usually payment averages around $10.00 per job and you can often do 3 or 4 jobs in an afternoon.
This is fun! Like couponing, it may not be making money, but if you get it free instead of paying for it, that is bankable too. In the past month I have gotten a free briefcase ($60 value), ream of paper, books, samples of personal items, office supplies and household cleaners. Like I said, it's fun and it can be profitable.
Programs that pay you for referrals (usually via banners) from your website to theirs. Most require a minimum amount of traffic (or hits) on your page before they will accept you. Some do not. You will, at least, need to list your webpage with a search engine(s) before you can do this. So if yours is a personal (friends and family) kind of website, this is probably not an appropriate type of program.
